Pothina Ramana alias Potti Ramana (50), a resident of Handicapped Colony, Midhilapuri VUDA Colony Layout, Madhurawada, was arrested by the City Task Force (CTF) here on Sunday.
Ramana gained notoriety in the last few years for land grabbing and he was allegedly involved in a number of such cases.
According to CTF Assistant Commissioner of Police I. Chittibabu, he was involved in 32 criminal cases related to land grabbing and trespassing under various police stations such as PM Palem and Bheemunipatnam.
He had 12 non-bailable warrants (NBW) pending against him since long and was absconding.
He was handed over to the PM Palem police station. He would be produced before the court on Monday.
