NTPC-Pudimadaka to complete green belt work in 44 hectares

NTPC-Pudimadaka will complete the development of green belt in 44 hectares by mid-2017. This was announced by NTPC Group General Manager P.S. Radhakrishna here during a programme organised to mark World Environment Day.

The company took up plantation drive in Atchutapuram and Rambilli mandals, where it is establishing a 4,000 MW thermal power plant.

Mr. Radhakrishnan reiterated the green belt development programme, which was started in January, 2016 wherein plantation of 44,000 plants was now going on in full swing. The benefit/fruits from the plants, he said, would be available in the surrounding areas.

Among others, K.K. Verma, General Manager (TS), K.S. Sarma, AGM (HR), S. Vishnumurthy, AGM (Finance), G. Brahmaji Rao, AGM (Personnel), L.R.S. Reddy, Senior Manager (Civil) and others were present.
