Southern Region Sports Meet of NTPC began at NTPC Simhadri, Deepanjalinagar Township near here on Saturday.
All the projects/stations and offices of southern regions of NTPC are participating in the three-day meet, which was inaugurated at NTPC Sports Complex by Group General Manager N.K. Sinha. Cricket, tennis and tennikoit for women will be conducted.
HR Head V. Shivaprasd welcomed the gathering. President of Sports Council N.K.P. Reddy proposed a vote of thanks.
Deepika Ladies Club president Parinita Sinha, General Managers A. Maiti, R.K. Mondal, A.C. Sahoo and Saroj Chelluri were amongst those present. About 100 participants are taking part.
