Tribal Welfare and Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu on Sunday released multilingual tribal dialect primary education material as part of the drive to facilitate easy learning among tribal children.
The education material has been prepared in Adivasi Odiya, Kui, and Konda Bharathi.
In his address, Mr. Kishore Babu said the educational material in local dialect would help more children in the Agency areas continue their education. He said the government was extending several benefits to the tribal children to pursue higher education.
The material was released at a function organised at Araku Valley by Nature, a local NGO, in association with the supporting agency, New Education Group–Foundation for Innovations and Research in Education (NEG-FIRE), which developed the material.
The Minister lauded Nature and NEG-FIRE and their partners for their role in promoting innovations in tribal education.

Sarva Sikha Abhiyan, DIET, women and child resource persons were involved in the exercise.
The material was compiled under the guidance of founder-director of Nature and Member of State Commission for Protection of Child Rights S. Balaraju.
Nature is implementing the multilingual education programme in 50 schools in the areas bordering Odisha in Dumbriguda mandal, in 10 model primary schools, and 10 anganwadi centres for replication in other tribal areas for the benefit of Adivasi Odiya, Kui, Konda Dora-speaking children.
