Notice issued to shops on Beach Road

June 03, 2014 09:03 pm | Updated July 21, 2016 07:28 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

GVMC has issued notice to vacate five eateries on the Beach Road to pave the way for AP Tourism Development Corporation.

The notice gave one month to the five shops to comply with the order.

There, however, has been a court stay with regard to Amoeba Park from the high court after an exorbitant revision in the rent. A small shop next to it is also involved in a legal case. Municipal Commissioner M V Satyanarayana said APTDC would later provide an area in which shops could be relocated.

The APTDC has taken a beautification drive of Ramakrishna Beach as a part of Beach Corridor project.
