NGOs stage dharna at Vizag Collectorate

Employees, workers, and pensioners staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Thursday under the banner of Samaikyandhrapradesh Parirakshana Vedika.

APNGOs Association district unit president K. Eswara Rao asked the Seemandhra MLAs to keep the promise made to the association and to honour the wishes of the people, to submit affidavits to the Speaker in support of a unified State.

Discussion on the Telangana Bill must be conducted clause-wise. State vice-president R. Ravi Shankar advised the MLAs to take part in the discussion and felt that all Seemandhra MLAs must have a joint forum like their Telangana counterparts.APNGOs Association city unit president K.V. Venkateswara Rao warned that MPs and MLAs not supporting unified State would have no political future.
