New chamber of Mayor opened

Speaker N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday inaugurated new chamber of the Mayor on the third floor of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation building. Minister for Tribal Welfare P. Balaraju opened the Mayor's Peshi.

The new chamber constructed at a cost of Rs.50 lakh also has visitors' lounge and accommodates the Mayor's staff, the secretary and his staff.

Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao, MLAs Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao, Tyanala Vijay Kumar and Malla Vijay Prasad and Municipal Commissioner V.N. Vishnu participated.

The Speaker earlier inaugurated a community hall constructed at a cost of Rs.25 lakh at Kanyaka Parameswari Temple in the One Town. Mr. Balaraju, the Mayor, the MLAs and corporators participated.
