NCC cadets take out pulse polio rally

NCC cadets of Mrs. AVN College took out an awareness rally on pulse polio on Sunday.

Carrying banners and raising slogans, about 50 cadets participated in the campaign covering areas such as Jalaripeta, Relli Veedhi, Golla Veedhi and Poorna market. AU UGC coordinator K. Srinivasa Rao, Associate NCC Officer of the college Captain N. Ramakrishna and vice-principal T.L. Rambabu were among others who took part in the procession.

Camp

The Child Foundation of India organised a pulse polio camp at Kancharapalem. Noted physician Kutikuppala Surya Rao inaugurated it. In all, 350 children were covered.
