National meet on energy efficiency

Government of India in association with State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) will be organising a one-day national-level conference on energy efficiency and conservation for the state designated agencies (SDA), here on August 18.

Delegates from 29 States and seven Union Territories will be participating in the conference that will be held at hotel Green Park.

Various aspects such as role of SDAs and nodal agencies of states in enforcement and compliance of building energy efficiency programme, their role in demand side management and energy efficiency activities, will be discussed.

Chief Secretary of AP Dinesh Kumar, Chairman of APERC Justice G. Bhavani Prasad, Principal Secretary CRDA Ajay Jain, Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman M.T. Krishna Babu, Energy Advisor K. Ranganatham and Director General BEE Abhay Bakhre will participate in the conference.
