GITAM School of Law observed National Law Day on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Y. Satyanarayana, director of GITAM School of Law, spoke on the importance of the day and mentioned the contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as the chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee and Dr. BN Rao as the advisor to the Constituent Assembly.
He also enunciated the pivotal role of the Constitution for fulfilling democratic ideals and stressed upon the responsibility the constitution has cast on the citizens of India. To mark the occasion, an oath was administered to the staff and students in tune with the spirit of the Constitution of India.
