IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM) on Monday signed MoU with Dr. L. Bullayya College, Gayatri Vidya Parishad College and A.V.N. College in Visakhapatnam respectively for training students on Global Business Foundation Skills (GBFS).

The course developed by SSC NASSCOM will offer measurable training programmes to students to enhance the employability skills of the graduates passing out from the institutes. The initiative will help nearly 1,500 students, in the initial year, to make them industry-ready.

Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, NASSCOM Vice-President and SSC Executive Director Sandhya Chintala said that collaborating with these colleges would help develop a skill-ready workforce for the IT and business process management industry.

Among others, K. Bhaskar Reddy, Director of Dr. L. B. College, Rehman, Director of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College and Vedula Perraju, principal of A.V.N. College, were present.
