Naidu to make night halt in city

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will stay here on Saturday night and leave for Vijayawada at noon on Sunday, according to the revised programme of his tour to the city.

He is originally scheduled to leave for Hyderabad late on Saturday evening.

Mr. Naidu would reach here by a special aircraft from Hyderabad at 2.30 p.m. and present Best Teacher awards at the State function of Teacher’s Day to be held at AU College of Engineering ground from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. He will later participate in the National Inter-District Junior Athletics Meet at Port Stadium from 5.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. and reaches Circuit House for night stay.

The Chief Minister would leave for Vijayawada by a special aircraft at 12.10 p.m. on Sunday.
