Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday released the poster of three-day Visakha Utsav slated to be organised from January 23.

At a simple function at Hotel Novotel, Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao explained to Mr. Naidu the arrangements being made for the event aimed at showcasing the tourist potential of Visakhapatnam. Mr. Naidu said Visakhapatnam would soon emerge as a world-class destination for tourists both from India and from abroad.

Mr. Rao later said that various committees were being formed to make the utsav a grand affair. The utsav, an annual event, could not be organised for past several years due to some reason or the other.
