Chief Minister and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu may make a visit to the pylon he unveiled marking the conclusion of his historic padayatra on the third day of the Mahanadu here.

“No decision, however, has been taken on it but it is a proposal,” HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said at AU Engineering College grounds, venue of Mahanadu, where hectic arrangements are going on for the mega event, on Thursday.

Mr. Naidu unveiled the pylon on April 27, 2013, at Aganampudi to mark the conclusion of his 208-day “Vastunna.. Mee Kosam” padayatra of 2840 km. A public meeting was held then at the same grounds to mark the conclusion.

The three-day Mahanadu begins on Saturday.

On the first day the Chief Minister will land at the airport at 9.25 a.m. and reach the venue of Mahanadu directly.

On the second day, he will participate in the birth anniversary of party founder NTR at the party office and unveil his statue in the morning and returns to the venue.

On the third day political resolution would be passed and the Chief Minister was also thinking of getting some public speak on the occasion, the HRD Minister said.

Central TDP media coordinator N.V.S.R.K. Prasad, MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana and MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao of the media committee gave details of arrangements being made for media persons for coverage.

Volunteers

MLA P.G.V.R. Naidu who is chairman of the volunteers committee said a total of 500 volunteers, including 125 women, would help in the smooth conduct of the event and ensure that thousands of delegates faced no inconvenience.

They will be present at the 14 compartments set up for the event including photo exhibition, medical and blood donation camps.
