Naidu likely to visit district 4 times this month

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to visit the district four times during September, according to a tentative schedule.

The first of the visits is to Narsapuram in Kasimkota mandal for the “Jala harati” programme on September 6.

By then probably order on Uttarandha Sujala Sravanthi irrigation project announced by the Chief Minister during the Mahanadu here would be issued and some further process would be initiated on the day, Collector Pravin Kumar told reporters on Friday.

On the day, the Chief Minister would also inaugurate anicut constructed at a cost of ₹16 crore across the Sarada river and offer “Jala harati” and address a public meeting.

He is scheduled to visit the city on September 27, World Tourism Day, to lay foundation for work on TU-142 aircraft museum. Two more visits are scheduled for Sept. 16 and 21.
