Murthy predictsTDP sweep

The results of the general elections to be announced on Friday will be one-sided and in favour of the TDP, according to M.V.V.S. Murthy, former MP.

Mr. Murthy said on Wednesday that in both municipal and ZPTC/MPTC elections the TDP gained a clear majority and the trend would continue. He said in the Godavari and North Coastal districts TDP would regain its glory. In Visakhapatnam district, winning 25 ZPTCs, it would get the Zilla Parishad chief post, he said.

The development of the new State, its capital, industry, employment and all-round development was possible only with the TDP coming to power, Mr. Murthy told cadre that met him after success in ZPTC/MPTC elections. Saragadam Appa Rao who won from Bhimili as ZPTC was feted.

District SC Cell chairman P. Vijay Kumar and Sanapala Panduranga Rao were present.
