GVMC proposes to set up a multi-level car parking at Jagadamba Junction for which a site has been finalised.

A report was awaited on how many cars it would take and other details, Municipal Commissioner M Hari Narayanan told reporters here. He was confident of taking up the MLCP at Jagadamba Junction.

Two more were also planned one as a part of integrated museum complex on the Beach Road and another near VUDA office on its site.

The Commissioner said 25 locations had been finalised for setting up the subsidised Anna Canteens in the city. RTC Complex, the Industrial Area at Malkapuram and the Zone III area that had more floating population would get them.

The canteens will supply breakfast and lunch and wherever they will be located in buildings otherwise kiosks would be used.

He said he had visited Hyderabad and tasted the foot which was quite good. No private parties would be involved and ISKCON and Akshyapatra would supply the cooked food.
