They receive DRDO awards from Defence Minister

Three scientists from NSTL were given awards, as part of the National Technology Day celebrations.

Agni Award for2017 was given to SM Bhave for design, development, manufacture and integrating processor based moored mine into Indian Navy.

‘Scientist of the Year’ for 2017 was given to Dr. Manu Korulla, in recognition for his outstanding contributions in the design & development of a unique Torpedo Launch and Recovery Vessel.

‘Scientist of the Year’ for2016 was given to PVS Ganesh Kumar. Union Minister for Defence Nirmala Sitaraman gave taway the awards .
