‘Modern women playing key role in society’

English professor from Andhra University S. Prasanna Sree on Wednesday said modern women were a very strong force in the country emerging successful, competing with men in every field.

She was speaking at the formation day celebrations of Women in Public Sector (WIPS), Visakhapatnam Steel Plant unit, here at Ukkunagaram.

Prof. Prasanna Sree called for motivation, commitment and attachment towards the people for transforming society and asked the steel plant women employees to work with commitment and focus on learning to grow in their career.

RINL Chairman-cum-Managing Director P. Madhusudan said modern women were playing a vital role in society and bringing name and fame to the country with their achievements.

He said women employees in RINL were very competent and coming forward to work in critical areas to show their talent and added that RINL is extending all facilities to strengthen their growth and advancement.

He congratulated women employees and particularly WIPS for bagging many awards at the national level.
