Marwari Yuva Manch to procure mobile cancer units

Marwari Yuva Manch will soon procure a mobile ‘cancer detection' unit from the USA at an estimated cost of Rs.4 crore, according to its national president Lalit Gandhi. He was in the city to participate in a programme organised by the Marwari Yuva Manch, Visakhpatnam, on Wednesday.

He said that the plan was to procure four cancer detection vans to cover the four regions of India. He said that the Manch has 750 branches and 300 ambulances. It was organising thousands of free artificial limb camps and blood donation camps, 3,500.

Secretary of the Vizag branch Anuj Joshi spoke a bout the welfare activities being undertaken by the branch like the battery operated car and water cooler at the Railway Station, free artificial limb camps and provision of help during medical emergencies. President of the Vizag branch Naresh Agarwal spoke. The Vizag branch members as also prominent Rajasthani organisations like Agarwal Mahasabha, Rajasthani Sanskritic Mandal, Rajasthani Vipra Welfare Sangh, Maheswari Sabha, All India Marwari Sammelan Ladies Wing and Visakha Prem Sagar jointly felicitated Mr. Lalit Gandhi.
