Maoists set afire equipments in village near Visakhapatnam

Members of the CPI (Maoist) allegedly set afire four earth moving equipments at Nurmati in G Madugula mandal in Visakhapatnam late on Thursday night.

According to the police, about 10 armed militia of the banned organisation reached the village and set afire the equipments that was being used to lay optic fibre broadband cable of BSNL.

Rahul Dev Sharma, SP Visakhapatnam, said a case has been booked and police have reached the spot.
