A special drive will be organised from January 3 to 5 for the benefit of LPG consumers in the city and rural areas who are yet to provided details of their Aadhaar and bank accounts to their respective LPG dealers.
The dealers have made special arrangements to receive the details. Those who have not yet provided the same should make use of the facility, Joint Collector Pravin Kumar has said.
Representatives of all the 34 LPG dealers will be visiting every house for the purpose.
Mr. Yuvaraj told the officials to ensure 100 per cent seeding by the end of first week of January.
LPG refill supply would be stopped from April 1 to consumers if they failed to get their LPG connection linked with Aadhaar and bank account details.
He expressed dissatisfaction over LPG agencies of the Railways, Coromandel, and police for not showing interest in the exercise.
