Lost and found website launched

The crime wing of city police launched a website, containing details of lost and found items here on Thursday. Launching the website, outgoing Police Commissioner B. Shivadhar Reddy said that the website would contain updated details of all lost items such as automobiles, gold, important documents and e-gadgets.

Apart from description of the items, details such as unique identification number, chassis number and IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) number would be uploaded on the website. “Public can access the website: www.lostandfoundvspcity.

com and know the status of their lost item. One can even upload if they have found something such as documents, cell phones or documents,” said the CP.

The website was jointly created by the crime wing, Catchway Web Technologies and Creative Friends Helping Hands.

While the data would be updated by the crime wing personnel, the server would be maintained by Creative Friends Helping Hands.
