A Liver Health Walk and free hepatitis B and C screening will be organised by the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Andhra Medical College and King George Hospital on July 24 as part of the World Hepatitis Week.
On the World Hepatitis Day on July 28, the department would take up vaccination of about 600 doctors, medical students, paramedical and non-medical staff of KGH and AMC who have not been vaccinated till now under the department’s mass vaccination programme for them which commenced in 2010, HoD in-charge of the department L.R.S. Giridhar said at a press conference on Friday.
