Sudden downpour in the evening did not deter weekend shoppers thronging at The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show 2012 on Saturday. Thousands of people were seen checking new introductions in the market like LEDs, dressing tables, marble dining tables, multi-utility display sets and other home decors.

Black beads with minakari pendants in vivid hues from Rajasthan are attracting good number of youngsters. The counter has oxidised jewellery, kundan sets, wooden-bead strings, rings, bangles and unique accessories.

Diamonds

For the diamond lovers, Krish Arts has new pattern of finger rings studded in one karat gold costing Rs.1,000. One can also explore diamond-pendants that range from Rs. 3,750.

For those who are good at multi-tasking, Kutchina offers entertaining kitchen solutions and chimneys with LCD displays.

One can keep a tab of the daily soaps or any other programme while cooking. Clix Powering Homes is offering discounts ranging from 10 to 50 per cent on chimneys, auto ignition and gas stoves.

People usually spend a lot during festive season, said Hayagriva Shoppe managing director G. Veera Babu. “However, we try to bridge the gap between the existing prices and offers available for the festive season.

So that shoppers need not wait until the festive season to buy the products. One can also avail discounts on every purchase made at the outlet,” he said.

From fashion jewellery to consumer products, kitchen appliances to doors and fixtures, tribal art hangers to belts, bead-bags and potlis every product is accessible under one roof. To top it all, raining discounts at the show appear to be very appealing for most of the shoppers.
