Leaders mourn NJR

Describing former Chief Minister N. Janardhan Reddy’s death as a loss to the party, MP T. Subbarami Reddy expressed his condolences. He recalled his exceptional services as Chief Minister and MP.

He conveyed his sympathies to his wife and former minister Rajyalakshmi and family members.

In a statement former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said in his death the country lost a leader of stature and administrator. He recalled his services to the State as Chief Minister and as MP to Visakhapatnam.

Former Government Whip Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao expressed his heartfelt condolences over the death of the former Chief Minister.

Senior vice-president of Volleyball Federation of India S. Kodandaramaiah mourned the death of the former Chief Minister.

As MP of Visakhapatnam, the late Janardhana Reddy was instrumental in the city hosting the World Junior Men volleyball championship in 2005, held for the first time in the country, Mr. Kondadaramiah said. It was a mega event and a prestigious one too but the late Janardhana Reddy made it possible, he recalled.
