Latest tech to maintain Kursura museum, says VUDA V-C

VUDA Vice-Chairman V.N. Vishnu has said latest technology will be adopted in the maintenance of Kursura Submarine Museum to keep up its global identity.

Chairing the meeting of the management committee of the museum on Wednesday, he directed the VUDA engineering personnel to implement Green Building concepts and visitor-friendly methods in the maintenance of the museum and providing amenities.

Mr. Vishnu instructed the engineers to take up immediate steps to improve lighting and directed them to install high-mast poles with LED lights and rope lighting arrangement, apart from taking up repairs and replacements to the existing illumination.

Regarding the air-conditioning facility in the seven compartments of the museum, he approved the proposal for placing three units in each compartments and issued orders for purchasing five more units to meet the requirement.

Directive

Mr. Vishnu issued instructions to complete all works such as painting of the museum, repairs to the audio-visual arrangements, placing a name board with highlights in the history of the museum and others by this month-end.

Commanders Mr. M.V. Loganadham and Mr. B. Pramod Babu, members of the Kursura Management Committee from the Navy, and VUDA officials were present.
