The trade show with some 100 stalls features latest versions of software

A two-day trade show of photography and videography organised by the Visakhapatnam Photo and Videographers Association (VPVA) as part of its ongoing effort to create awareness on the latest developments in hardware and software among its members got under way on Saturday.

The trade show with some 100 stalls displaying latest equipment and versions of software are on display at the Symphony Function Hall at YMCA on the Beach Road. The vendors have also organised live demonstrations of the latest equipment at the show. “We are organising the two-day event in association with Edit Point and other partners from Hyderabad to bring latest equipment to our members,” VPVA general secretary M. Lokesh Kumar told The Hindu .

From the best brands

The best brands in the industry like Zeiss, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, have put up their latest equipment for professionals. A large number of accessory suppliers like lights, stands and lenses, backdrops and other studio equipment, among others are also on display, he explained. The latest video editing equipment and software for video and photo editing are also on display.

Edit Point which has been offering training in video and photo editing are partnering with the association in organising the trade show, Mr Kumar said.
