Land identified for industries

To push up the process of allotting land, grant of permissions and other issues to the entrepreneurs and managements of industries willing to set up industries, Department of Industries’ top officials have held discussions with the District Administration on Tuesday.

The government’s plan is to get the foundations for the industries laid in July after completing the necessary formalities. Secretary to the Department of Industries Solomon Arokiya Raj and Director Kartikeya Mishra held discussions with the Collector N. Yuvaraj and Joint Collector J. Nivas on the land allotment and were told that acquisition of 9,237.70 acres for the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor was completed in the Atchyutapuram cluster and 1,176.78 acres are ready for allotment to the units in the SEZ.
