Knowledge to Initiate New Developments (KIND), an NGO, organised a seminar on ‘Prohibition of intoxicants and drugs’ at the Public Library in Dwarkanagar here on Saturday. Speaking at the seminar Commissioner of Police Shivadhar Reddy asked the youth to give information on illegal activities, including consumption of drugs, supply and sale points or any criminal activity to the toll free numbers 100, 1090 or 1091. Responding to an appeal by president of KIND Adari Kishore for constituting a task force in this regard, the Commissioner of Police replied in the affirmative. Mr. Kishore said 65 per cent of the youth in the country were in the age group of 17-35 years. The massive youth potential should be utilised for the good of the country, he added. Mr. Shivadhar Reddy released a wall poster with the slogan ‘Say no Drugs’ prepared by Soham Youth Club.
