Jogging track at YSR Park to be inaugurated on May 1

The external jogging track at YSR VUDA Central Park and the jogging track at Kailasagiri Health Arena would be thrown open to public on May 1, Minister for Infrastructure and Investment Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced on Monday during a visit to YSR Park.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao wanted VUDA to take up satellite townships at Anakapalle and Paradesipalem by identifying dispute-free lands.

VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj apprised the Minister of the status of the work at the park and the health arena. He said at the park, work on landscaping, greenery and plantation would be launched in June keeping the onset of monsoon in view.

Dr. Yuvaraj said tender estimates were being finalised to resume work on Harita project and technical details and proposals for roofing of Gurajada Kalakshetram in the city and Rao Gopala Rao Kalakshetram at Anakapalle were under scrutiny.

VUDA Chief Engineer I. Viswanatha Rao and other officials were present.
