JNTUK celebrates 2nd anniversary

The second anniversary of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) was celebrated on a grand scale here on Friday. The weeklong celebrations came to an end with the ‘University Day' celebrations.

Vice-Chancellor of the JNTUK Allam Appa Rao, who was the chief guest of the function, said that the objective was to make the JNTUK a world class institute and make its students feel proud of their academic career on the campus.

He said that several steps were taken to ensure quality education to all the students pursuing education in various colleges that come under the purview of the University.

Vice-Chancellor of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati, G. Sarojamma lauded the progress of the JNTUK in the last two years. Registrar of the JNTUK V. Ravindra presented a report on the University's activities.
