Jitendranath murder: two more arrested

Two more accused in the Adusumilli Jitendranath murder case -- Mohd. Nasiruddin and G. Bhaskar Rao -- were arrested by the police at Routhulapudi and Peddapuram village in East Godavari district. Nasiruddin had actually participated in committing the murder of Jitendranath along with the prime accused, Y. Vijay Kumar and Vara Prasad, and was also involved in the transport of the body in a car. Bhaskar Rao, nephew of Vijay Kumar, had helped in the purchase of the second hand car, which was used in the crime besides pledging of gold ornaments. Both the accused were sent for judicial custody on Friday, Additional DCP (Crime) S. Varadaraju said.
