JAC seeks shifting of abattoir

Members of various organisations that formed a Joint Action Committee have demanded shifting of the modern abattoir that came up at Paradesipalem.

In a representation to the District Collector, it alleged the abattoir that came up amid habitations would cause problems to people. They expressed the fear that in the name of big animals, cows, oxen and dairy cattle might be slaughtered for meat.

Representatives of Pyramid Spiritual, Marwari Yuva Manch, Viswa Hindu Parishad, Rajasthan Vipra Welfare Association, Sri Visakha Jain Dadawadi Sangh, Sri Vishnu Seva Sangh, Mahavir International, Govardhanagiri Gosala and A P Gosamrakshana Samakhya comprise the JAC.
