JAC relay fast ends

The three-day relay fast programme of the Joint Action Committee of Government employees, teachers, workers and pensioners concluded here on Friday.

A large number of JAC members participated in the three-day programme held as part of the State-wide agitation demanding the Government to concede JAC's long-pending demands.

Release of DA arrears, issue of health cards, bad climate allowance for those working in the Agency area, regularisation of all contract, contingency employees, etc. were their demands.

Chairman of district JAC K. Eswara Rao asked the employees to participate in the protest programme being held in Hyderabad on November 23. Vice-president of State unit of APNGOs' Association S. Nageswara Reddy, district convenor T. Gopalakrishna, APNGOs' Association city unit president Madhusudhana Rao, State president of VROs' Association E. Sriramamurthy, and others addressed the participants of the dharna.
