The investiture ceremony of Kendriya Vidyalaya Malkapuram for the current academic year was held on Wednesday on the school premises. The chief guest for the occasion was Cmde V.R. Peshwae, CO, INS Virbahu. The oath of student captains and vice-captains was administered by the chief guest. He congratulated the students and urged them to lead the school community by example rather than by words. School principal D. Vijaya, vice principal B. Jaya Lakshmi, headmaster B. Krishna Rao and staff members participated in the ceremony. The function came to an end with the rendition of the National Anthem by school choir.
