Municipal Commissioner M V Satyanarayana on Tuesday made a surprise visit to Zone III office and inspected the functioning of the call centre, citizen’s charter and Suakaryam counters there.
Under-assessment of property tax should be checked, vacant land tax levied and rents of municipal shops collected regularly to improve revenue, he told officials.
Zone commissioner Y Srinivasa Rao and executive engineer Krishna Rao, assistant city planner DSV Kumar and assistant medical officer Ramamohana Rao participated.
