Representatives of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), Visakhapatnam Chapter met the Municipal Administration Minister M. Mahidhar Reddy and Principal Secretary S.K. Joshi on Friday and submitted a representation on a host of issues.
The representation related to the long-pending grievances of builders in Visakhapatnam like vacant land tax (VLT) levying of which for three years by GVMC turned out to be a contentious, charges on bulk water supply, issue of transferable development rights, impact fees, declaring of commercial zones and acceptance of notarised deed instead of registered mortgaged deed in compliance with the ensured construction as per sanctioned plan.
CREDAI, AP, Advisory Board chairman K.Subba Raju, vice-president of CREDAI, AP, M.V.V. Satyanarayana, Visakhapatnam chapter chairman B. Raja Srinivas and honorary secretary P. Koteswara Rao along with national president C. Sekhar Reddy led the delegation.
Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana and VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj attended the meeting.
