A low pressure area has formed over west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of south Odisha and north coastal AP with the associated upper air cyclonic circulation, extending up to mid tropospheric level tilting southwards with height.
Under its influence, heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore of coastal AP till Wednesday morning.
Light to moderate rain or thunder showers are likely to occur at many places over coastal AP and Rayalaseema during the same period, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
