Haribabu lays stress ondeveloping coastline

Local MP and BJP State president K. Haribabu on Sunday underlined the need to develop nearly 1,000-km coastline by constructing at least 10 ports between Ichhapuram and Tada. He was speaking as an alumnus at the inaugural of Andhra University Engineering College Alumni Association at Dr. Y.V.S. Murthy auditorium. The association was formed for the first time in the 59 years history of the college.

Another alumnus, AU Vice-Chancellor G.S.N. Raju asked the members of the association to interact regularly with the faculty of the engineering college.

Visakha North MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju congratulated fellow alumni on forming the association. About 100 old students, at least 30 of them above 70 years, attended the meeting, according to association vice-president V. Ramachandra Rao.
