GVMC to hold Property Tax Adalat on Feb. 6

GVMC will organise a Property Tax Adalat on Wednesday to clear pending applications for change of name for property tax, exemption to ex-servicemen, revision of tax etc.

The adalat will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Swarna Bharati Indoor Stadium.

Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana said in a statement that all those having grievances may attend the adalat for redress.

Those, who have not received orders on name change for property tax may attend with details of application, copies of title deed and link documents, attested by a gazetted officer, encumbrance certificate and original copies of market value, receipts of property tax payment, no objection certificate for hypothecated properties, receipt of payment at the rate of Rs.1,000 for every Rs.10 lakh of the value of the property.

Those seeking reduction in property tax and applied for it may also attend.
