Tarakeshwara Foundation will hold the 39th edition of Indian classical music concerts at Rajiv Smruthi Bhavan on R. K. Beach Road on Sunday.
Carnatic exponent Avireddy Satya Vishal will perform violin solo in the company of his sister Sree Vijaya providing violin support and Guntuku Venkata Rao on the mridangam. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and the entry to the concert is free.
The foundation is bringing a rich bonanza of classical programmes during the next weekend. On Saturday evening, flautist Emani Poornima Krishna from Hyderabad will give a flute recital in the company of Hemanth Kumar of Hyderabad on the violin, Dhanwada Dharma Rao on the mridangam and A.S.R. Koundinya on the ghatam.
The following Sunday morning, Emani Poornima Krishna will lead a group of 10 artistes from Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam on various instruments for a Hindustani, Carnatic and Western classical music concert named Shastriya Sangeetha Samahaaram.
The Sunday evening will see Bharatanatyam exponent Sneha Narayan from Bengaluru performing a one-and-a-half hour of Bharatanatyam dance, according to Tarakeshwara Foundation managing trustee Sehdev Singh.
