A Class VII girl from P. Bonangi village hit the bullseye and got selected for the National under-14 archery championship.

S. Geethika of Sanskruthi Global School won a gold medal in the 30-metre event for under-14 girls in the Cherukuri Lenin-Volga Memorial Mini Inter-District Archery Championship conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Archery Association at Vijayawada.

She qualified for the National Archery Championship to be held in Vijayawada from April 9.

Chairman of the school P. Suryanarayana Reddy appreciated Geethika’s performance and promised to support her when she participates in international events.
