HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Friday inaugurated tank bund and park developed at Endada and 39 lights in Bheemunipatnam constituency.

The tank bund and park were developed at a cost of ₹1.17 crore by GVMC.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao said several steps would be taken up to further beautify the city as IT and tourism were coming up in a big way.

The HRD Minister said so far various development works were completed at a cost of ₹ 200 crore in Bhimili constituency. CC roads costing ₹ 76 crore and drainage with ₹ 67 crore are yet to be completed.

Municipal Commissioner M. Hari Narayanan said because of the initiative taken by the Minister the development of the park and tank bund were developed in five months.

Steps would also be taken to develop the 32 merged panchayats.

Superintendent Engineers A. Venugopal and Pallamraju participated.
