Ganja seized, three held in Pinagadi

The City Task Force (CTF) on Wednesday conducted raid near Bamboo Restaurant at Pinagadi under Pendurthi Police Station limits, and apprehended three persons Noorul Siddik of Jammadevipeta, N. Ramesh L. Peddiraju, for trying to smuggle dry ganja.

Mobile phones seized

The CTF team led by ACP I. Chittibabu also seized 59 kgs of dry ganja, a TVS XL Moped and two mobile phones from their possession. The hemp was procured from interior parts of G. Madugula mandal in Visakhapatnam Agency area and was brought for sale in the city at Rs. 4,000 per kg.
