Lord Ganesh was decorated as ‘Aiswarya Ganapati’ on Sunday with currency notes. The eight-foot idol put up at L.N. Gardens, Duvvada, by STBL Projects.

Vinayaka is enthralling devotees in various forms like ‘Lakshmi Ganapati’ and ‘Vidya Ganapathi’ during the seven-day festival. The organisers also put up a map next to idol depicting the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh as ‘Swarna Andhra Pradesh’ with gold and silver coated coins.

“We depicted Visakhapatnam as Singapore and the other 12 districts with advanced nations, to portray the dream of State Government to develop AP into Swarna Andhra Pradesh,” said an organiser.
