Free training in self-defence

A free training course in self-defence for girls, women and men is being offered by the City Police at the City Police Training Centre from June 2 to 7.

The participants will be given training in karate, judo, and boxing by experts besides tips on self-defence. Awareness will be created among the participants on Child Rights Act, functioning of the police, Indian Constitution, crime against women and the laws to deal with them and police duties and checking crimes with public cooperation.

Interested girls, women and men can register their names at Police Training Centre located beside the City Police Ground at Suryabaugh. They can also register their names by calling 0891-2712471.
