Fleet B team won the Eastern Command Volleyball Championship 2014-15 beating Local Ashore B team at the finals played on Friday.
Commanding Officer INS Dega Captain D Bhattacharya gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up at the finals of the five-day annual championship that was conducted at the Eastern Naval Command Indoor Volleyball court. This opportunity was also utilized to select the ENC team for the coming Navy Volleyball Championship scheduled in May this year at Kochi. A total of seven teams from the Eastern Fleet, the Local Shore units, Local Flotilla Ships, Submarines and Chennai based units participated in the tournament, which was held on league-cum-knockout basis.
