Municipal Commissioner B. Ramanjaneyulu has ordered that heavy fine be imposed on those dumping debris indiscriminately and the charges for removal be collected from the respective builders.

During his visit to Sampat Vinayaka temple road and Waltair Uplands on Wednesday, he saw debris from buildings under construction being dumped there and one builder using the footpath for dumping material and placing machinery.

He directed officials to impose fine every day till the material was shifted. At South Jail Road and nearby areas all unauthorised hoardings should be removed and heavy fine imposed on those erecting them.
