Film on GMO screened

An internationally renowned film made on the impact of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO-OMG) was screened by Environmental Film Society on Sunday at Visakhapatnam Public Library.

The programme was attended by 150 people.

Director Jeremy Seifert’s film is a journey in search of answers about genetically modified organisms and how they affect the children, the health of the planet, and people’s freedom of choice.

A short documentary on awareness of swine flu (H1N1) influenza was also screened along with the documentary.

Vizag Film Society member P.V. Ramana, Environmental Film Society members G. Devi Prasad, R. Manohar, N. Aditya Madhav, and Shanmuk Kumar, and Green Climate Women team members J. Rajeswari, and P.V. Sirisha attended the screening along with students and youth groups of the city.
